Create or modify file protection replication remote connection

Network-attached storage is a file-level storage architecture that makes stored data more accessible to networked devices.

Only one remote connection can be created for the system.

Steps

  1. Select a storage system that supports PowerMax File.
  2. Select Data Protection > File Protection.
  3. Select REPLICATION > REMOTE CONNECTION.
  4. Click Create to create a connection, or select the connection and click Modify to modify its properties.
  5. Type the name, select the remote cluster IP address, and select the file control network.
  6. Do one of the following:
    • Click Run Now to perform the operation in the background.
    • Expand Run Now and click Add to Job List to add this task to the job list, from which you can schedule or run the task at your convenience. For more information, see Schedule jobs and Preview jobs
